This is my 24th year teaching. I have taught at Montlake Elementary, Viewlands Elementary and for the last 9 years at Bagley Elementary. I’ve taught K/1, 4th grade, 5th grade, 2nd grade and 3rd grade.
I’m married to a wonderful man who is a managing librarian with King County Library Systems. It’s so great being a teacher married to a librarian.
We live in the house I grew up in on Queen Anne Hill. I’m a product of Seattle Public Schools and the University of Washington.
I love Pugs. Currently, I have a sweet puppy named Perry. I had Porsche who died at the ripe old age of 16.
Perry and Porsche were fawn colored. Otis was my first pug and he was black and people thought he was a Buddha like dog.
All three dogs were rescue dogs. I believe very strongly in rescuing animals. There are so many who need homes.
